Today I thought I would talk about Grades and school -_-. So for most teenagers in secondary school, College, and university we have these things called exam's. Why am I saying it like you don't know we have them?
Anyway.. I am in year 10 which means I am sitting most of my mocks in the next couple of weeks and completing all my controlled assessment pieces. So far I have completed 3 controlled assessments in English and I am on my Forth one now. I still have 3 to complete I think.
Fortunately, we have not started any coursework in science...whew!
Recently, I have sat my maths mock for the AQA thing and thankfully. I got a B in the non-calculator and and A* in the calculator, achieving not only the best in the class for calculator, but the best overall. :) This made me so proud, as I wan't to be a maths teacher and achieving something like this is amazing for me.
After half term I am sitting my Physics, Chemistry and Biology, mock's for P1, P2, C1, C2, B1 and B2. How daunting. I really want a B or higher for all of them, but you know, I will try my best and if I don't succeed there is always the next time, seeing as these are mocks.
Anyway, I revise constantly because I get paranoid if I get a low grade or something.
The school is worried about my heath etc, as there are times where I haven't slept because I have been revising or haven't ate because I haven't had the time, so I have just fainted. -_- I think it is best to balance out everything and revise a lot but a little ;) if that makes sense. Even revising an hour of physics a week can be the difference between an B and an A...
Another thing, it is half term and I am being made to go and sit my ICT exam's of thursday and friday -_- oh the joys...
I will update you on that one because I like ICT and got a D* (distinction=A*) on my first part:)
Good luck to everybody who is sitting there mock's these next couple of week or is doing coursework or controlled assessments;)
Thanks you for reading xox
